About this statement

Xlines is not currently required to publish a modern slavery statement under laws such as the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 or the Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018, which apply to organizations above specific revenue thresholds well beyond our current size. We're publishing this statement voluntarily, scaled honestly to who we actually are today, because we know our clients — many of them larger organizations — expect to see one from vendors in the outsourcing/BPO sector, and because we believe the commitment matters regardless of company size.

Our organization

Xlines is a small, founder-run business-process-outsourcing (BPO) and customer-experience (CX) company based in Cairo, Egypt, currently in its pre-launch stage and building a small team to deliver customer support, sales and back-office services to client businesses in the US and Europe.

Our supply chain

At our current stage, our "supply chain" is limited and straightforward: cloud/web hosting, software and productivity tools, and, as we grow, contracted staff and freelance specialists. We do not currently operate a manufacturing supply chain or engage in physical goods sourcing. We will expand this section as our vendor and staffing relationships grow.

Our commitment

  • We do not and will not use forced, bonded, or child labor in any part of our own operations.
  • We expect the same from any vendor, contractor, or subcontractor we engage, and intend to build this expectation into our vendor agreements as our supply chain grows — see our Supplier Code of Conduct.
  • As we scale and our supply chain becomes more complex, we commit to conducting proportionate due diligence on new vendors and to revisiting and expanding this statement, including publishing it as a formal board/leadership-approved annual statement once we meet the relevant statutory thresholds.

Raising a concern

If you have a good-faith concern about modern slavery or human trafficking connected to Xlines or its supply chain, please contact info@xlinescx.com.
