Scope
This California Privacy Policy supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to personal information of California residents that we collect through xlinescx.com, as required by the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"). Xlines is a pre-launch, small business; we are describing our practices in good faith regardless of whether every CCPA threshold technically applies to us, because we expect to serve California-based clients.
Categories of personal information we collect
| Category | Examples | Collected? |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email, phone, company name | Yes — via contact/newsletter forms |
| Commercial information | Services inquired about | Yes — form "message" field |
| Internet/network activity | Browsing, analytics, ad identifiers | No — no analytics/ad tracking is in use today |
| Geolocation | Precise location | No |
| Sensitive personal information | Government ID, financial account, precise geolocation, etc. | No — not requested or collected |
Purposes of collection
We collect the categories above to respond to inquiries, provide the newsletter, and operate and secure the Site, as described in our Privacy Policy.
No sale or sharing of personal information
Xlines does not sell personal information, and does not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is currently no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" opt-out mechanism to operate — if this ever changes, this page and the Site will be updated accordingly, including any required opt-out link.
Your California rights
Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose and (if applicable) sell/share;
- Delete personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information (not applicable today, as above) and out of certain automated decision-making;
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (not applicable — we don't collect any); and
- Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights
Submit a request to info@xlinescx.com with "California Privacy Request" in the subject line, or see our Data Subject Rights & Privacy Requests page for the full process, including how we verify requests and our response timeline (within 45 days, extendable once by 45 days where permitted). You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
Minors
The Site is a B2B business site and is not directed to, and does not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 16.
